Hands‑On, Career‑Focused Programs for Youth Ages 13–18

Discover a growing series of immersive, hands‑on academies designed to spark curiosity, build real‑world skills, and introduce teens to exciting career pathways. Hosted at WVU Parkersburg and the new Innovation & Technology Center (ITC), our Teen Academies give students the opportunity to explore high‑demand fields through interactive projects, guided instruction, and memorable learning experiences.

Each academy focuses on a different theme—technology, healthcare, public safety, engineering, and more—allowing teens to choose the areas they want to explore most. Whether they’re assembling a 3D printer, conducting medical simulations, solving forensic cases, or diving into the world of tech and cybersecurity, students gain knowledge, confidence, and hands‑on skills they can build on long after the academy ends.
